Awakening to Consciousness
Imagine, as I opened my eyes this
morning, the rain was gently falling cleansing all around. My
intention from the night before was to awaken at 7am. Obviously
my body registered this information as my clock said 6.55am. I
smiled as I allowed a few minutes to do some energy work on myself
before getting out of bed. Waking up slowing, listening to the
birds singing, saying good morning to my favorite tree outside
the window. Now I am ready to get up. I feel rested and excited
about the day. Eagle glides by and lands in the great Pine outside
the window as I dance the connection to the energies of the East.
Opening to this day, asking to walk in right action with this
day. The energy is strong as I dance each of the directions asking
for in-sight and guidance for this time. Putting some music on
I head for the shower, ah as I give Thanks to the water for cleansing
me, I feel such gratitude for fresh clean mountain water. Life
feels so alive already, only an hour has gone by. I begin to look
at my day as I enjoy a cup of organic tea and breakfast. It is
a busy day; the first client arrives at 9am. and the last one
at 3pm. As I look at my daybook closer I realize that I have also
scheduled a walk for 1pm. for an hour. I feel gratitude to for
doing this to take care of myself on this busy day. I immediately
feel more energy, excitement, openness, and clarity to welcome
each person as they arrive. Your day may begin in a very different
way, which is perfect for you. The way or form is not what is
important. The state of being Conscious is what is important.
Awaking to Consciousness for me is a state of being in the moment
allowing total balance in my life in whatever form it shows itself.
It is taking complete responsibility for my actions. It is about
going through each moment with clear intention, even if that intention
is to do nothing. You see when each person awakens to Consciousness;
harmlessness on this planet is the result. To live consciously
isnt about one lifestyle being right or wrong, good or bad,
spiritual or not, whether this is the right food for your body
or not. It is about Awareness, the Totality of ones thoughts.
Ask yourself when you spend money, "Do I want the energy
of this money to go to support this business?" or "
Do I buy the object because it is convenient for me?" In
reality it doesnt matter which questions you choose. What
does matter is that you are aware of your action and the consequence
of that action. There is an old saying about "What I dont
know wouldnt hurt me." "What I cant see
isnt there". This kind of thought is what allows us
to stay Unconscious. As you enter this Spring Season, this time
of new growth and birth, ask yourself "Where is the place
within myself that needs to Awaken to Consciousness?" Remember
to Play and have Fun discovering new ways of Thinking, Being and
Doing!
