About the Penticton Bonsai Club
The purpose of our club is to
help guide you in this hobby. It is so rewarding that you will wonder
why you didn't learn about it sooner.
Our club members are of mixed
ages and ethnic backgrounds with a common interest - Bonsai.
We hold regular meetings on
the last Wednesday of most months. You are invited to attend. At our meetings
we offer instruction in:
- choosing plants
- designing and styling
- pruning and potting
- care and maintenance
- tools and equipment
We also have:
- guest speakers
- demonstrations
- videos, books, and magazines
that members may borrow
Activities include:
- workshops
- trips to nurseries
- field trips for specimens
- travel to Bonsai exhibitions
- socials
